About Tomato & Basil

Located at 66605 Van Dyke Ave, Washington, MI 48095, Tomato & Basil operates as a pizza restaurant serving Washington in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Tomato & Basil at (586) 752-5750; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, tomatoandbasilromeo.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 370 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Washington and suggests consistent service.

Washington is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Traffic in Washington peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Incredible! Hands down the best pizza! The knots are to die for!!! The homemade marinara...ranch...hand stretched dough! OMG. You won't be disappointed!!!! πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ”₯😁 Worth every penny!!!

The food was outstanding! The pizza had a perfectly cooked thin crust, and the Steak Supreme Sub was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared just right. The front lobby could use a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Tomato and basil has the best subs around! every time I have any kind of gathering, I always get 2 to 3 feet. They’re so big filling and everybody is always raving about them. Their new pickle pizza is out of this world, the garlic knots amazing. I’ve never had anything bad here. It’s always consistent, I would choose Tomato & Basil every time over any other local pizza place. Fresh and yummy salads too!!

Best pizza I've ever had! I just had their pizza for the first time today, maybe 15 minutes ago. I already love and plan on coming back with my family. The workers were super nice and helpful. If you happen to be near place and aren't sure, then let this be your sign to go in and try it!!
